Stamp Out Hunger Banner

The 2025 National Association of Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger food drive is May 10!

The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC), the Stamp Out Hunger food drive is the largest one-day food drive in the country. Food collected in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties stays here, helping to feed those who are struggling with food insecurity in our community.

Residents can easily participate by leaving non-perishable food donations (please exclude breakable container) at their mailboxes on Saturday, May 10, for their letter carriers to collect. Don’t have a traditional mailbox? That’s OK! Leave your bag of donations close to where you get your mail OR drop off your non-perishable food donations to a USPS post office near you on or leading up to Saturday, May 10! Every donation helps to ensure that families in need have access to nutritious food.

For those interested in volunteering on Saturday, May 10th to assist with food pick-up, please contact the United Way of Adams County office at 217-222-5020 and speak with Makayla Buckley. Volunteers would meet at the post office on 36th Street at 11am to receive instructions and a designated route. It is a 2-hour commitment that can make a world of difference in the lives of Adams County neighbors facing food insecurity.

Together, let us make a meaningful impact and “Stamp Out Hunger” in our community.
