Resources for Veterans
United Way of Adams County is dedicated to helping veterans connect with resources available in our community to help them and their families. We have partnered with Tri-State Warrior Outreach to provide case management and administrative support for the program and have assembled a committee of key community members to meet regularly and ensure we continue to work towards better support and additional programs to serve those who served our country.

DAV: Volunteer For Veterans
DAV has rolled out a program called Volunteer For Veterans. You can register as a volunteer, but more importantly if a veteran has a need - help running errands, minor home repairs, assistance with mowing or other chores, etc. - THEY can register and will be matched with a volunteer. DAV has had a lot of volunteers sign up, but they are not reaching the veterans. Please do what you can to promote this in your area, at meetings, if you know veterans in need help them get signed up, spread on social media, etc.
